Plot: The film starts out with three girls’ numbers being called out to “audition” for the cheerleader squad, and they look like a group of $2 hookers, make-up and all. They start dancing atrociously and one member of the trio decides to give her and her friends an edge by sneaking under the judges’ table and blowing one of them. Miraculously, a decision as to who is to be chosen to make the cheerleader squad has been made. Well, no sooner than the girls have been picked, the owner, football coach, and cheerleader coach decide that there is to be no fraternizing between the football team and the “Dallas Darlings” (cheerleaders). Well, not even twenty minutes into the movie, there is a nice shower scene with the three cheerleaders, Pepper, Goldie, and Roxy as several team members lather them up and make sure they are nice and clean, inside and out. This scene is short lived as Coach Hardass Callahan comes in with the new owner and cheer-leading coach to make sure there are no shenanigans going on.
The potential for hot scenes of sex are always prevalent in adult films whose settings are in gymnasiums and involve athletic clubs. The film is full of quick edits, most choppy and done poorly, but this is a grindhouse feature and the quality is never the focal point of the film. I really enjoyed all the characters humorous names, such as tailback Phantom Collier (Jesse Adams), receiver Too Long Jones, quarterback Clay Potts, and Cruncher the right end.
Pro Ball Cheerleaders is a fun sex-romp where the girls are able and willing, the men ready to appease, and the script is playful and fairly interesting. I have seen some non-adult films that could take some notes from this adult film. The filmmakers even throw in some ulterior motives into the plot, adding a wee bit of complexity to it, as one of the cheerleaders, Tamara, is a spy sent to find out the plays of the football team. The acting was pretty horrible, but what did you expect? You don’t watch adult films for great performances, aside from sexual ones.
There is an anal scene where the two are doing it outside in the rain while “trying” to fix a flat tire, all muddy and cruddy while doing it in the grass and I am inclined to think they may have just filmed the “dirtiest” scene in porn film’s history. There is even some oddly misplaced space-like traveling effects to go from scene to scene, as if a ship were traveling in hyperspace, as well as a “relaxilator” that looks like a turkey-baste device that is used as a strap-on to relax the stressed-out coach.
The film is filled with busty cheerleaders and I was grateful for this. Sometimes, bigger is better! Many of the girls had very curvy and voluptuous bodies and even had one scene where the cheerleader Tamara (Candida Royalle) starts riding one of the players while he was sleeping, has a happy ending, and then wakes up.
