Esta edición incluye muchas utilidades nuevas, muchos se han actualizado y los menús de selección se han mejorado. Sin embargo, el tamaño se reduce considerablemente para que pueda caber en una memoria de 2 Gb de memoria flash USB.
Hiren Boot CD es una vasta colección de utilidades de arranque y portátil para el manejo, diagnóstico y reparación de problemas informáticos, recuperar archivos perdidos o eliminados, o craqueo de contraseñas. No hay ningún problema equipo para el que el HBCD no tiene al menos una herramienta para ayudar a su solución. Además, el HBCD proporciona los medios para tomar el control de cualquier computadora y comunicarse con otros ordenadores, navegar por Internet, escribir documentos o programas, sin tener que arrancar el sistema operativo instalado. Hay literalmente cientos de empresas de servicios públicos y se aconseja que explore el contenido antes de la necesidad de que se plantee. Hiren Boot CD se puede utilizar de dos maneras:
Como un CD de arranque para tomar el control de la computadora sin necesidad de iniciar la instalación
sistema operativo para que podamos hacer las reparaciones o clonar el disco principal, recuperar
archivos, probar la memoria y el hardware, limpias infecciones severas virales, et.c.
Para realizar cualquiera de estos simplemente arrancar el ordenador desde el CD y seleccione
una utilidad desde el menú. Las opciones incluyen 3 Mini entornos Windows (98,
XP y 7) y un entorno de rescate Linux.
Como una colección de reparación portátil y utilidades de diagnóstico que pueden ser
ejecutar desde dentro de Windows sin la instalación. Para ello, inserte el CD
cuando se ejecuta Windows y seleccione una utilidad en el Iniciador del Programa HBCD
menú. Si el CD no se ejecuta automáticamente puede iniciar el menú mediante la ejecución de
HBCDMenu.cmd. Cuando no está el sistema operativo funcional, o no está disponible la
empresas de servicios públicos portátiles pueden seguir usándose si se inicia un equipo con Windows Mini el medio ambiente incluidos en el CD. (3 ª opción del menú de arranque principal).
Por ejemplo, Norton Ghost puede iniciarse de tres maneras:
Arranca desde el CD, seleccione "Programas de Dos" y luego "Norton Ghost".
(Útil si se quiere clonar o restaurar el disco duro principal
y no hay memoria suficiente para arrancar Mini Windows XP).
Arranca desde el CD, seleccione "Mini Windows XP" y luego seleccione Ghost
en el menú Launcher HBCD.
Arranque en su sistema operativo Windows, inserte el CD y
seleccione en el menú de Ghost Launcher HBCD.
Acronis similar:
Puede ser arrancado desde el menú de HBCD Dos.
Se puede arrancar directamente desde el menú principal.
Ejecutar en XP o Mini Mini Windows 7.
Ejecutar desde la instalación de Windows XP/Vista/7.
Este DVD restaurado incluye todos los servicios públicos que se encuentran en la última Hirens Boot CD 15,1 (diciembre de 2011). [1] Muchas empresas se han actualizado, ya que es de 6 meses desde el lanzamiento HBCD pasado. Se llama antiguo, ya que contiene todas las utilidades comerciales omitidos en las versiones oficiales (desde la versión 11.0.) También incluye otras herramientas de Acronis, Paragon, activo, y otros programas útiles totalmente integrado dentro de los menús de Hiren. Además, ahora incluye la opción de añadir herramientas como la Ruta inversa o Geek Squad de resonancia magnética (Las instrucciones detalladas incluidas).
A continuación se enumeran sólo los programas y utilidades adicionales que se encuentran en este DVD. Los números entre corchetes [] se refieren a las URL que aparecen en la parte inferior de este archivo. Restaurada DOS menú de utilidades
Estos se encuentran dentro del menú HBCD DOS. Estas utilidades se incluyeron en el oficial, pero se quedaron fuera desde la versión 11 HBCD.

SysRescueCD [2]
A live Linux Gentoo based rescue CD (choice of 32 or 64 bit). It includes
many tools for rescuing and managing Linux and windows systems. Hundreds
of utilities. e.g. Clam antivirus, Gparted, ntfs-3g, wifi access,
syslinux, telnet, ssh, vim, mc, etc., and most important: PXE network booting.
BackTrack
An Ubuntu based Linux live CD for digital forensics and penetration (sic)
testing. It includes many well known security (or hacking) tools, e.g.
Aircrack, Ophcrack, Gerix Wifi Cracker, disassemblers, sniffers, etc., as
well as commonplace applications such as browsers, file managers, editors,
torrent clients, etc.
Tails
A privacy oriented linux live CD. It contains everything one needs
(browsers, messaging, e-mail, office, etc.) preconfigured with security in
mind. Tail internet connectivity relies on the Torr anonymity network to
protect privacy. Thus internet connections cannot be traced back. It also
leaves no trace on the computer it uses.
MRI
Geek Squad's diagnostics and repair disk it is not free software. I find
it cumbersome and slow whilst not offering anything more than the tools we
already have on HBCD. Some people, however, want to integrate it with
HBCD.

Important Notes
For keyboards other than English you can still apply Hiren's keyboard patch.
For installation to USB read document 'usb-installation.pdf'.
To extend HBCD by adding tools such as the distro BackTrack,
read document 'add-optional-utils.pdf'.
To reduce the size of the DVD to CD or to fit in a smaller GB USB stick read file 'trim-dvd.txt'
Read document 'install-win-with-hbcd.pdf' for a guide for how to install
windows from USB.
Mini Windows XP and Mini Windows 7 run from RAM. If you start one program
after another you will soon run out of memory. So clean the temp folder
from time to time. A command for this is provided in the Program Launcher.
Mini Windows 7 is somewhat slow to start up because it loads some drivers.
So be patient and give it time. Also it now has the same desktop background
as Mini XP so do not be confused.
The HBCD program launcher and some of the portable utilities are
incompatible with 64 bit Windows 7. Use only within 32 bit installed Windows,
else you can boot Mini Windows from DVD and use them from there.
