The Beauties and the Beast (1974)

After a brief description of the legends of Bigfoot by the narrator, this film goes on to show what the hairy monster might really be doing with his time in the woods: watching women get naked and have sex. After spying on a couple of college girls sleeping together in a remote forest cabin, Bigfoot then stumbles across a couple having sex in the woods. After he chases off the man to have a little fun of his own with the woman, the film then leaves Bigfoot to follow the exploits of the two college girls as they encounter a troupe of skinny-dipping hippies.

The film starts with an almost "Castle Films" beginning, like the cheap education movies we saw in elementary school. An authoritative voice fills you in on the legends of the Yeti. OK, no problem there. Lots of these films had to put on the mask of education to avoid being raided. But then the movie switches to "suburbia USA" and a young woman gets out of bed in a short nightgown, not see through mind you, lights a cigarette, as we all did in the 60s, and turns on the radio. The director then stays on the radio for almost a minute while you listen to elevator music, because this is what hip swinging chicks int he 60s and early 70s always played on their portable radios.
