Mini Biography: Andrea True
Nashville-born Andrea True moved to New York to become an actress sometime in the early 1960s. After managing to get a few jobs as an extra (in The Way We Were (1973) and_40 Carats (1973)_, among others), she embarked on a career as a porn actress and quickly became one of the best-known names in the industry, appearing in over 50 feature films. While still working as an adult film actress, True - who also had ambitions as a singer and songwriter - wrote lyrics to and co-produced the song "More, More, More (How Do You Like It)" which became a #1 hit on the U. S. disco charts in 1976. Abandoning the adult film industry for a recording career, True recorded a few more albums, but none achieved the success of her initial effort. She is subsequently reported to have become an astrologer and substance abuse counselor in Florida
